Nathan Mueller is a journalist, editor, and photographer from Northern Kentucky. Former Sports Editor of the WKU Herald, he has built a reputation for versatile reporting that combines sports coverage, feature writing, photography, and multimedia storytelling.
Throughout his career, Mueller has covered college athletics, campus life, and regional stories, producing articles, podcasts, photo essays, and travel features. His work has included coverage of major sporting events and on-location assignments.
As the son of acclaimed Northern Kentucky artist David Mueller, Mueller was exposed from an early age to the disciplines of observation, creativity, and visual storytelling, as well as the artistic fundamentals of composition and color. Those influences can be seen in Nathan’s own approach to journalism, where writing, photography, and narrative work together to capture the people and moments behind the news and photo subjects.
